ABOUT THE CEO AWARDS

Their decisions can make or break economies and their vision is what has shaped the way the world is today.

The CEO India Awards has been conceptualised to honour and recognise the mavericks, the calculated risk takers and the new entrants of the corporate world. Hosted by CEO India, India's premiere lifestyle magazine, it will be ably supported by Acer India as a sponsor and Grant Thornton as a Process Validation Partner. Grant Thornton is the leading assurance, tax and business consultancy firm that unlocks the potential for growth in dynamic organisations. These awards will celebrate the efforts of those who have made their organisations tick and exhibited excellence over the last one year.

What makes the CEO India Awards stand apart is its unique validation process. Designed by Grant Thornton, the process has various points that will measure the parameters by which each CXO will be shortlisted. Further, the shortlisted CXOs will be judged by a panel of jury members that will consist of eminent corporate leaders. The members on the jury will be from companies that are neither sponsors for the event or from CEO India or Grant Thornton. With the age limit for the nominations kept at a medium threshold, these awards aim to reward and recognise CXOs who are on their way to achieve greater success in their career.

Slated to become an annual affair that the corporate world will eagerly look forward to, the first edition will take place at Delhi on the 14 March, 2014.
